Intentional Interim Senior Pastor Mike Albin, Email
Pastor Mike Albin is our intentional interim senior pastor. He has pastored churches for over 35 years and has joined with us in this exciting time of re-tooling for greater ministry. His role is to help Bayview prepare for its next senior pastor. He is a part of Titus Ministries (www.titus-ministries.org), a ministry that provides leadership for churches in transition as per the directions the Apostle Paul gave Pastor Titus in Titus 1:5, “The reason I left you in Crete was that you might straighten out what was left unfinished and appoint elders in every town as I directed you.”
Mike and Judy have been happily married for 41 years and enjoy hanging out with their family of two adult children, their spouses, and two terrific grandchildren. Their permanent home is in Hillsboro, Oregon, close to the kids, great friends, and excellent steelhead and salmon fishing. Judy enjoys her Bible studies with her friends, painting, sketching, quilting, and being a grandma.
Mike graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1967 with a major in philosophy and earned his Masters of Theology degree in Christian Education in 1971 at Dallas Theological Seminary.

Pastor of Discipleship Greg Atkinson, Email
Pastor Greg is our Executive Pastor at Bayview. Pastor Greg arrived on island in August 2002. He has served in various Christian ministries over the past 25 years including Christian camps and with his wife Terri served in Germany (1987-1993) as missionaries with Malachi Youth Ministries of Cadence International. Greg has served in pastoral ministry in churches the last 10 years. He grew up in Oregon and became a Christian as a young boy while attending church with his family.
Greg and Terri met and married while attending Biola University in California. They have enjoyed being married for the last 23 years and serving as a team while parenting-coaching their four children (Amy-19; Luke-17; Levi-11; Joel-9).
Pastor Greg graduated from Biola University in 1986 with a B.A. in Psychology-Counseling and from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon with a Master of Divinity-Pastoral Ministries degree in 1998.
His interests include – “Celebrating Life” with family & friends; meeting new people; coaching; reading; sports & outdoor activities. He recently bought his own “Expresso Machine” and invites you over for a homemade expresso-latte-mocha-coffee-chai tea- hot or iced - at what our church worship leaders know as “The Wild Boar Café” (Terri’s kitchen most of the time)! |
